Panasonic at EXPO 2025
At the Osaka-Kansai EXPO, Panasonic and NTT Anode Energy are developing a hydrogen supply chain model, which utilises hydrogen from zero-carbon electricity. This includes solar power generated at the NTT Pavilion which will be transported to the Panasonic Group Pavilion, located about 200 meters away through an underground pipeline.
Both pavilions will use this hydrogen to generate electricity in Panasonic hydrogen fuel cells and power the facilities especially, the nighttime illumination of the Panasonic Group Pavilion.
This hydrogen supply chain model will enable EXPO visitors to become more aware of hydrogen as the next-generation energy source and show what a future hydrogen society could look like.
Panasonic are also a headline sponsor of Manchester’s BLOOM performance at EXPO, helping to strengthen the organisation’s relationship with Greater Manchester.
