Priorities for Japan 2025
Marketing Manchester’s contribution to the Mission to Japan 2025 and Japan Week activity supports the delivery of Greater Manchester’s International Strategy, which recognises Japan as one of the region’s priority markets. Building upon the existing relationship with Japan will help broaden the political, business, innovation, cultural and civic links between Osaka and Greater Manchester.
The Mission to Japan 2025, participation at EXPO25 and Japan Week 2025 will help Marketing Manchester promote Greater Manchester as one of the most important strategic city-region partners of Japan in Europe, leading the way in innovation towards a fairer, greener and more inclusive society.
Marketing Manchester will help boost cultural, music and sporting links between the two regions, empowering businesses and people on both sides to connect, adapt and collaborate.
The activity will raise the profile of Greater Manchester as a visitor destination for Japanese Visitors, showcasing the best of our region and placing it as a ‘must-visit’ on the international stage with an overall aim to increase visitor numbers and improve connectivity.
