As MIDAS’ Business Development Director, David heads up the team responsible for promoting Greater Manchester’s frontier sectors, focussed on Low Carbon, Advanced Manufacturing & Materials, Creative, Digital & Tech and Life Sciences to overseas and national investors, securing investment into the region. The team provide free, bespoke, confidential services and professional advice to assist investors with location selection, business case development, connecting investors with our extensive network of business, academic & government contacts, creating opportunities and ensuring business success.  Prior to MIDAS David spent 18 years working for a UK based SME designing, manufacturing, selling, installing & maintaining energy saving technology to reduce consumption and Carbon emissions.
